LBJ Library State Dinner Invitation

Branding, Design

The invitation for The State Dinner, an annual black-tie gala at the LBJ Presidential Library, exudes class and elegance, reflecting President Lyndon B. Johnson’s enduring legacy. Inspired by the library’s distinctive architecture, the design features geometric shapes reminiscent of its iconic overhanging corners. The front cover showcases a metallic gold shape with raised UV coatings that highlight the official seal and LBJ’s signature on black felt-textured paper. Inside, a metallic gold herringbone pattern evokes the sophistication of a 1960s suit, while historic photographs of LBJ and Lady Bird Johnson, printed in metallic teal ink, bring the era to life. The black, gold, and teal color palette blends vintage 1960s aesthetics with contemporary design touches, creating a timeless, refined experience.
